Cross-Referencing Actuators From Different Manufacturers

I am working with a system that uses actuators from a brand that is no longer easily available. Finding the same model has been difficult, so now I am looking for equivalents. The problem is that different manufacturers use different naming conventions. Matching specifications manually takes a lot of time. I want to be sure the replacement behaves the same way as the original. Trial and error is not really an option here. Is there a reliable way to cross-reference actuators between brands?

I ran into the same issue and ended up using https://www.progressiveautomations.com/en-eu/pages/replacement-chart actuator cross reference tools. They helped link older or discontinued models to current alternatives. Instead of comparing specs line by line, I could see suggested equivalents directly. This made the process much faster. It also reduced the risk of missing small but important differences. For me, cross-referencing simplified the whole replacement task.
