Okay, so I just discovered a leak during this latest downpour and I am freaking out! Everything is soaked in the attic, and I have no idea what to do first. Do I call a roofer immediately? Or is there some kind of temporary fix I can use to stop the dripping? I have buckets ready to catch water, but Got a roof leak - now what are my options?? I am not sure where to even start.

The first thing to do is contain the leak as best you can, with literally anything you have. Then, call professionals immediately. Check for Roofing Contractors in Duncan, BC, and get someone out for an emergency patch before it gets far worse. Document all any water damage with photos for insurance reasons. Don’t try climbing up to patch things yourself if you’re not confident.
